Christmas Cocktail Recipes

No party is complete without a fun festive drink in hand. Here’s a few of my favorite.

Winter Wonderland

1.5 oz. vodka

.75 oz. peppermint schnapps

.75 oz. white chocolate liqueur

Candy cane

Red suger

Mix and chill ingredients. Pour into a red sugar-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a candy cane hanging on the rim.

Sugar Cookie Martini

2 oz. vodka

2 oz. butterscotch schnapps

1.5 oz. whole milk or cream

Place sprinkles on a small plate. Using honey, simple syrup, or water, wet the rims of the martini glasses and swirl glasses in sprinkles to coat rims.

Pour vodka, butterscotch schnapps, and milk into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well.

Pour mixture into sprinkle-rimmed cocktail glasses and enjoy!

The Christmas Martini

1 oz. vodka

1 oz. cranberry juice (not sweetened)

1/2 oz. cointreau

1/2 oz. lemon juice

Splash of simple syrup depending on your sweetness level.

  1. Place the vodka, cranberry juice, Cointreau, lemon juice, and syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake 15 seconds until cold.
  2. Strain the drink into a cocktail or martini glass. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary and serve.

Jingle Bell Smash

2 oz. cranberry juice

2 oz. bourbon

1 oz. rosemary simple syrup

1 oz. lemon juice

Fresh cranberries and rosemary

  1. In a shaker or cocktail mixer filled with ice, combine the cranberry juice, bourbon, simple syrup and lemon juice. Shake/ stir to combine.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass, garnish and ENJOY!

To make rosemary simply syrup, combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in pan and simmer over medium heat. Add 3 medium sprigs of fresh rosemary and let simmer until sugar is completed dissolved. Take off burner and allow to completely cool allowing rosemary to disfuse its flavor. Stain into a bottle.

Chocolate Covered Cherry Peppermint

1.5 oz Grenadine
1.25 oz Creme De Cacao
1.25 oz Smirnoff Peppermint Twist Vodka

Add ice to a cocktail shaker.

Add the grenadine, shake vigorously, then strain into a martini glass.

Repeat with the creme de cacao and vodka, using a fresh shaker and ice each time.

Strain each layer slowly into the glass, letting the liquor slide down the side of the glass to create each layer.
